The most appropriate way to discover your passion is to experiment

Adham Karam, 21 years old, from Cairo Governorate, studies at the Faculty of Computers and Information, Luxor University

Adham's story started from a young age, where his curiosity prompted him to try everything that revolves around him, such as technology, YouTube, and Copy Writing,  most of them ended in failure But he did not give up until he reached the second grade of high school Then he discovered Photoshop by chance and found that he clothed his desires to embody everything in his mind in an image

Adham began to learn the design skill and put all his efforts to be distinguished in it until he began to employ it in his life  Where he started working with teachers and volunteering in places , associations in order to aspire to a bigger job in his dream profession until his designs became better and better So he started building a good portfolio

His alienation from his family was a major reason for his self-reliance and joining the world of design.After he joined the faculty of Computer and Information in Luxor University, he began to search for work for his self-sufficiency until he reached a company where he was appointed

_He worked in the field of advertising for agencies and clients in Egypt, MENA region and the United Kingdom.

_Worked with "Concept Egypt" Magazine, "Eshtry menny" Podcast, "Squadra" Standup Comedians, and "The Creative cast" Podcast

_Adham has a podcast called "Design Cast" that shares tips on freelancing ,graphic design, and his personal experiences as well.

_Public speaker in various fields like Graphic design and Freelancing.

_He received an award from the "Masar Foundation" for his outstanding presentation of his "Design Cast" podcast

Obstacle Faced Adham

No one has an easy and clear journey, and its steps are known from A to Z, but for me, the obstacles were to be exploited in my favour

When I traveled to Luxor, I took advantage of the situation and left my family’s circle and my comfort zone and started looking for a job So I was employed in the first company that opened many doors and tracks for me. I could not reach it while I was sitting in our house in Cairo, especially since the competition in Cairo was intense I started in a place where the competition was very weak, so I was able to stay strong before I entered the competition

For me, I don't consider the obstacles as much as I see how to take advantage of them and benefit from them if we know how to do this

Adham's advice to young people

If I had one piece of advice, it would be to start

Start and try if the path is not clear

Start if your age is young in order to try while you have the opportunity, and it is not a small condition that you are not yet ready for a certain age, but I mean that whenever you take into account that you must start, start

That you start at the age of 20 is better than what you start at 25, and that you start at 25 is better than what you start at 30, and so on  

The important thing is to take actual steps in your life and start even if you do not know what you want to do and go where, but try and see your luck, and the world will guide you to where
