Graduated from the Faculty of Computer and Information, Luxor University. A young and aspiring graphic designer and advertiser, Adham is also working on his podcast, sharing insights from his journey.
From an early age, Adham spent a lot of time at the computer, supported by his family, especially his father, a computer engineer, and his mother, who had some experience in the field. He experimented with YouTube, light programming, and video editing, until by chance, in his second year of high school, he discovered Photoshop in the school’s computer lab. Intrigued, he taught himself the software through YouTube, eventually combining his passion for drawing with digital design, allowing him to bring the images in his mind to life.
Adham faced a pivotal moment during his final year of high school, torn between his studies and his passion. With some wise advice – "3rd year is your task, finish it, then pursue your passion" – he focused on school, while planning to continue developing his passion, which had no deadline..
After some family discussions, he and a friend managed to convince their families to allow them to travel for college. Adham took on a role as a graphic designer at a small company. Though the pay was meager, his mother's financial and emotional support, along with help from his friend in their shared apartment, kept him going. However, after realizing that the company wasn’t offering him much growth, he shifted his focus to freelancing, particularly in Upper Egypt, where the labor market lacked opportunities.
Adham’s freelance journey began to flourish when he landed a part-time opportunity with a UK-based company. Though this role ended due to company issues, it gave him valuable experience and insight. These experiences inspired him to start a podcast, through which he shares his learnings with others.
His podcast focuses on the theoretical aspects of freelancing and graphic design, offering advice and insights that many ignore. He aims to help young students like himself, who are unsure of where to start or how to navigate their careers. The podcast has become a platform for him to share not just his own experiences but also those of others, hoping to inspire listeners to take action in their own lives.
Adham is constantly striving to improve himself. He has recently started learning VFX, which he believes will be a significant step in his career. He also hopes to grow his podcast to reach more people and make a positive impact, even if only by 1%.
Throughout his journey, Adham has had the unwavering support of three close friends and his family, especially his mother, who has been by his side every step of the way. His experiences, including failures and rejections, have taught him that success doesn’t always come on the first try, but persistence and effort always lead to growth.
His advice to others is simple: there’s always time to try new things, no matter your age or stage in life. Even if you fail, each attempt brings new knowledge and insight.
